Fake electronic messages have been identified sent to customers, pretending to originate from PayPal, Apple and other online service providers. Customers are prompted to provide personal and financial data including user names, passwords and banking cards related information.

Those messages represent a PHISHING attack! Do not reply to them sending personal and financial information, do NOT open any links and do NOT install any software contained in those e-mails.

If you have any doubts that your account has been compromised, please contact the support service of the online service provider through their official web site.

The fake e-mails from Apple claim that the customer account is temporarily blocked and must be reset by opening a link, where bank cards data is requested.

Important for your security

Change your password frequently (at least once every two months).

In order to keep high level of security when banking with Raiffeisen ONLINE, we would like to inform you that, Raiffeisenbank discontinue the usage of SSL 3.0 or older protocol version as of 23.10.2014.

In order to continue with normal banking with Raiffeisen ONLINE, it’s necessary to make sure that the TLS protocol is enabled in your browser.

Possible problems when banking with Raiffeisen ONLINE may occur for users who use unsupported version of browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 or older versions. We recommend upgrading to at least Internet Explorer 8, browser version that is supported even by the operating system Windows XP. In the browser settings for Internet Explorer - Internet Options, tab Advanced, you need to check whether the usage of TLS protocol is enabled.


Please note the information from the official web site of Microsoft, that on April 8, 2014 Microsoft will end the support for Windows XP. How to check the Operation System on your PC?
